Shouldn't be a problem.

I looked into getting some for my tank a few years ago. Everything I read said it wouldn't be a problem. I changed my mind because they don't move around a lot.

 

yeah... The ones that like to stay real still would be a problem... Wouldn't be able to tell if they died!! Hahaha
I just wasn't sure if the little fish would try picking at them???

 

I have fish I have to poke with a stick once in a while to make sure they aren't dead so don't need more of those.

From what I have seen when the fish start to bug them they move and they can bury into some small places.

 

Both times my Molly gave birth, she killed one of my frogs.
