I have two dalmatian mollies, one of which is a female. When I bought her she was really skinny like my male, but in two weeks she has doubled in size. The first photo was when I brought her home, and the second photo is a current photo of her. I have not noticed her hiding out anywhere, but she is a little meaner than when I first brought her home. Is it possible that she is pregnant and if so, when should I look for her to have the fry?

I am not sure how to set one up. I will be picking a ten gallon up from my brother in law tomorrow. What should I make sure I have in there for her? Will it stress her out being away from the others? if so, what will help her?

Well, it is with the saddest heart and tears that I have to say this.... I lost both of my babies- one yesterday and one today. Thank you all for the advice, and I will keep the notes so I can maybe have some surviving fry the next round. :(

I am not sure why they died. I know one of them had a funny swim, but the other looked fine as far as I could tell. I am going to check their water and see if there was something wrong with the water, but there shouldn't be. I do a 20-25% change every other day and sometimes once a day (I am not using a filter in their tank as it is a 20 gal. with only 10 gal. of water. I checked it on the 24th and it seemed nearly perfect, but I will check it again just to make sure. It is just the thought that I lost the only two babies I could save. :(
