well based on the adult size of the fish you already have i think you are good right now. the angels are going to get fairly large.... if you have plans to relocate them into a larger tank in the future you could add a few more fish but if this is going to be home i would wait tit out and see the size of your angels...

at one point in time i had 3 angelfish and 5 swords but some died and they all seemed fine together.at the pet store there was 2 HUGE angelfish and about 15 other small ones and they did fine and they had plenty of room.lets just say if i were to get any what would be the suggestions?

keep in mind that the pet store is simply holding them and they want them out as fast as they can..not worried about stress on the fish or the long term well being of those animals. but if you set on getting more fish i will have to let others give you oppinions as i can not in good conscious suggest any more than you have now.. sorry....

I agree with prevous posters. Your tank is frankly overstocked now. Both the angels and silver dollars are potentially large fish, and this tank is far too small for them all. Fish continue to grow all their lives, unlike us, and being in too small a space from the start can cause internal problems that affect the immune system making the fish more susceptible to disease and pathogens. The physical space limitations play a part, but also the water conditions in smaller spaces (smaller than what the fish requires to properly grow). The loss of thegouramis may well have been due to their tank companions in this small a space. And if the pleco is a common pleco, it is a 12-15 inch fish.

I'm not going to suggest what to take out, that is your call as to how you do it, but certainly do not add anything for the health of your fish.

You need to look at the ADULT size of the fish for one, as previously explained the one's you do already have will outgrow your tank and should be moved to a larger tank, this will not be sufficient for them little whiles down the Rd.
Secondly you have to look at a tanks volume (gallon) and its bio-load (fishpoop), also here you're maxing it out as it is. Not having any plants in the tank make the matter even worst for the tank's ecosystem to try handle this load.
So no adding another small or big fish just doesn't work in the long run.
You can add them sure, but then be prepared they will die on you far quicker then they naturally should.
The tank will already be past its capacity with the Sword's in it being male & female, they'll have you baby's in there like NOTHING so the only thing there to not get more overstocked then it is, is to hope the Angels are large enough already to eat them all as they're born.

Sorry to be so strait fwd, and I know it ain't what you want to hear, but that's just how it is.

but my livebearers are not gonna have fry cause everytime they do they get eaten they will never live to be adults.and also i think i said i have 2 male and 2 female swords that wasnt right i have 3 female and 1 male.i think my one female is pretty old so it is not gonna live long.
