I went to my local store and I got some Neon Blue Dwarf Gouramis like a month ago, one male and one female. The male is swimming with the tetras I have, but the female hides in the Java Moss. I have never seen her eat and she comes out rarely. Could the male be harassing the female? Should I put more females in there or are they okay? I heard floating plants could help, if so what types?

Are you sure they're male and female? Female dwarf gouramis are very difficult to come by (I've never even seen one in person). My understanding is that the supply of fish we get here in the US comes from SE Asian fish farms that dose the young gouramis with male hormones to make them all male because they male fish are a lot more brightly colored than the females (and therefore sell better). If you have two males, it's likely that the one fish is bullying the other. Like their betta relatives, gouramis can be quite territorial/aggressive.
I am pretty 99% sure she is a she. I always wanted some Gouramis, I always research before I buy. I will try to get pictures.
