So I have been cutting this plant and spreading it throughout my tank. The first time I cut it, I cut it about halfway (it was a 20 inch stem) and replanted the tips and the plant grew tall. The last time I tried to cut it I only took about 4 inches of it and planted it in the substrate. That cutting is now growing horizontally along the bottom of the tank! I don't get it! Has anyone ever seen this before?
