Hello - This is my first aquarium (other than keeping some years ago when I was younger). I'm stocking a 36 gal planted bowfront with a Fluval 207 cannister filter. I have been running some stuff through AqAdvisor, but not sure how accurate it is. I currently have started with 3 julii corys, a mini-snowball pleco and 2 apistogramma agassizis. I want to add a school of neon tetras and pygmy hatchetfish as well as a few otocinclus affinis for alge and perhaps a couple more corys because I read they want to be in a school of 5-6. Do you think the following is too many fish for my setup? Or different recommendations for numbers? Should I switch the neons to embers or wont't that make much difference?
2 x Apistogramma agassizi
1 x mini snowball pleco
4-5 julii corys
6-10 neon tetras
3 otocinclus
5 pygmy hatchetfish
thanks for any advice!
