Hey all, once my tandanus cat outgrows my 20g, and moves into a 3ftx18inx18in tank (until Im off wooden floors so I can setup my 120g for it), I will be looking around for any cool looking cats that are active during daylight hours, and can spend their life in a 60cm35cmx30cm tank. I like pictus cats, but I cant keep a school of them in my tank. Cories are nice, and I wouldnt mind some as well, but I was looking for something with a bit more personality, that I can possibly hand feed? any suggestions?

Hoplo's are great catfish with personality. Not sure their adukt tank requirements but Ive heard lots of good things about them. You'd wan to look for a smaller species of them and double check tank size needs.

All the Hoplos I can think of are best in 4' aquariums. If you have plenty of flow and don't mind they are nocturnal (I know you said you didn't want that) then I'd say check out Centromochlus perugiae. Personality to spare. I want some so bad!

All right I'll check them out, both species. The guy who owns my lfs can order in just about anything, for quite reasonable prices too. BWG, if they prefer 4ft tanks then I'll check them out too, as I'm building a 4ftx20widex18indeep tank for my tandanus, and they might make a good tank mate. cheers

WOW, those centromochlus perugiae look AWESOME, I'll have to get a couple one day. The hoplos look pretty cool too, they seem max out at around 6-8in, and prefer to be in groups, so unfortunately they are not for my 20g.
darn it.. BWG just added another fish to my wants..which with my enabler bf I'm doomed to get lol.. I looked them up too and cory(BWGs ) fav supplier has them!!
