If the feces is from plecos or ottos, that should be no problem.
Regarding the danios, they seem to like to chase each other allot, sort of like playing tag. As far as spawning, they are egg layers. I used to have them so I can't really be positive, becuase if they did lay eggs, I know my clown loaches or angels would more likely eat the eggs.
