Just set up my tank with my Goldfish! Two Oranda's and a Fan tail. one oranda is orange/black/celophane his name is Hodor and the other is white with the red top-her name is Egrett. The Fantail is a calico color. Grey body with splotches of orange/black/white her name is Oscha

OH! Quick question regarding my Goldfish, two questions really. I know I have a male and a female oranda, Hodor is the male and Oscha is the female. Hodor keeps chasing ocsha around and puts his head very close to her bum constantly. Are they trying to mate? I've never had that happen so I'm not sure what to do. I usually breed guppies and am currently working on a betta breeding project. I have no experience with breeding goldfish

2nd question: I was thinking of painting the ouside of the tank, Mainly the back wall and bottom. there is no substrate on the bottom, just because I find it much easier to maintain the tank without it. This shouldn't be a problem for the fish should it? Theres no way the chemicals would seep through the walls of the tank would they?

Can't help you with the mating thing as far as goldfish but it sure sounds like he's interested in her. Does it look aggressive?

As for painting, you should be fine. I haven't heard of anyone having a problem with leeching. Is it glass or acrylic?

Finally watched the rest of GOT last night. Very satisfying season ending :thumbsup: Can't wait to see what happens next.

It doesn't look aggressive. I do have her in the hospital tank though. She has devloped some brown spots on her tail. Treating that. I would love to have baby gold fish though

It's glass. I dont buy the acrylic ones. glass is so much easier to maintain.

The ending was more than satisfying! I was so happy! I love Tyrion. and I NEVER expected Varis to do that!

Yeah, hooray for Varis! I guess I was hoping that Cersei finally got hers but Tywin was a pretty great second choice (and Shae as well).

If you're a fan of Peter Dinklage and haven't seen the movie The Station Agent, you should def. put it on your list.

I was really hoping Cersei would be the next to go, Her and Melisandre. I dont care for either of them. I love Stannis! Stannis the Mannis! lol and I'll definitely check out that movie. Dinklage is an awesome actor!

I get you, every time I try to get a good picture of my 3 goldfish they follow the camera and when I want a picture of one goldfish the other ones block the shot.
