Seems like I've been waiting forever to get them...but I think it's only been 3 weeks or less :shock: ...

...but I did get them today...they're very VERY small...so they have some growing to do...hopefully the 6 of them all survive... I wouldn't have taken 6 though, if they weren't so very small...

I forgot to pick up some algae wafers...but there's enough algae in the tank to tide them over for a few days I'd think...I can also leave the algae in place for them when I do my water change (this weekend)...

And that's it until we get the big tank up and running...now I'm definately overstocked!

Might mean some more frequent water changes for a while, but that's okay too :wink: ...

well good luck, my lone oto (after two of his friends died :() wont eat any thing i feed him, he will only eat the algae growing in my tank.

yeah but i cant find any in stock, he's always been like this, even with his buddies, he was the only survivor of the break-in period

Yes, I found that very few people know about them and that they're not stocked all the time...

...shhhh...don't tell anyone...I got these guys at Petsmart... :lol:

But yes...Chinese Algae Eaters were the only ones I was aware of too...wonder why?

The irony of the name is in the fact that they do NOT eat algae, and are not from China. :lol: :eek:
