didn't get anything from the fish store, their choice wasn't great,
the pearl gourami were in a tank that was being treated for something,so none
the shop was heaving with people and staff that didn't really know what
they were doing..pets @ home ........
so rather than impulse i walked away
thanks..i walked out with a heavy heart :-(
still never mind...i went to another store today, and walked away with
11 serpae tetra,and 11 guppys....they didn't have any healthy yoyo loaches,
so i didn't get any.there are a couple of roapy looking serpae,but i'm hoping
good conditions, and food will bring them on..here's hoping..
next fish ? don't really know.
jealousy ? got the better of me
not the greatest pictures you will ever see..i'm not happy about my lights
or perhaps it's tennis..not sure..i've also painted some paper black and
put it on the back of the tank, and it's changed the colour a little ?
not that there is a FTS..just certain parts..
the Angels are loving the tall plants..i know they're a little raggity in places, but
they should repair with time…the Angels that is..and the rams….quite sweet
if the little one goes off exploring the other one goes looking, and ushers her back
to the rock..
I really don't know what a vacation is..my boss tells me I'm just lucky to have a job.lol. They sure look like they go together and what nice color. I've been daring myself to get some gold rams for awhile now, but I need to rehome a bunch of red jewels first. Have a good time wherever you go..didn't you say you were coming to Florida?
Thats s realy nice tank you got there, and thats a pair you got your self the males the one hugging the bottom, a lot darker than the female. With out going with there black spot ŵhats not 100%, just the look and body shape, the way shes close to him tucked away. Feed her well snd they will be spawning in no time, she will look stunning plumped up in her breeding colours.
thanks guys..i have all my fingers crossed this time i will be lucky !
i wish i was coming to Florida this time…ahhhhhh tootsie rolls…..peanut butter
m&ms……twinkles……..actually i wouldn't have been able to eat them anyway
lol…but i do Love visiting..everyone has always been sooooo nice :-D
Willow..Hope you are having fun. I bought a 55 gallon tank other day. It comes complete with a pair of German blue rams, and a pair of Bolivians, nicest tank I own now. When you acclimate I want to know what you feed your rams, and everything. First time I've had rams.

the smallest is developing a lovely little pink belly, they are a happy couple
(thank that lovely young man from [email protected] )

i'll try and get some more pictures of them..
water change day today…need to get on with it,as it will take
ages to warm up…i soooooo should have got it warming last night :-(
Nice tank Willow, love the Angels. I actually thought of buying some last night. Oh hey whats with that funny colored water ? Anyone have some tea ??? j/k... I really like your set up and can only hope mine turns out as nice :-D
A bit of an upgrade for my odd couple polleni and angelfish who were previously in my 55. Picked up this 75 gallon with a homemade stand. Nothing pretty, but it works. The fish, driftwood, and most of the plants from the 55 were moved in on June 3rd. I also moved over one of the cycled filters...

The 25g needs a major overhaul. Unfortunately, i cant seem to locate any 'great' pics before the rescape so this will have to do.
It was a jungle of ludwigia, so that had to go. :)
I decided to do a minimalist scape, and focusing on a select few species. And this time, it will be a peninsula...
With my new additions, the bolivian rams i thought id share some pics of my planted 65g tank...
Angels, rummies, pencilfish, pangio sp., BN pleco, cories and now rams....

I've been keeping a maintenance journal with the My Aquariums/My Aquarium Log on this site since 2009. But I haven't gotten the log part to work in forever, for my 75 gallon log and my aquariums. And when I try to make a new tank...
