Hi guys. So I'm a new fish keeper and I am also new to this forum so hello!
Alright so to start i have a few questions about this group of fish.
Will a Triop, Plecostomus, Apple snail (or some snail), and shrimp get along?
The triops species i believe is- Triops longicaudatus
Im not sure what snail i want to get is...
As far as shrimp go, there were two kinds on amazon i was looking at...
i believe that one was Sakura Fire red shrimp and Dream blue velvet shrimp
i was also wondering what sort of plant life i should have as well as what other sort of filtration, lighting, etc;
also one more question, are there any cool fish (not normal fish) that would live well with the rest of these animals.
Thanks.

By Triop do you mean the mini horseshoe crabs? I've had a few of those before and I loved them. I am assuming that you have a small tank, and plecos get EXTREMELY large. Common Plecos will grow to be a few feet, but bristlenose's will stay at about 6". I would recomend cory catfish, (pandas are cool), they are smaller and very cute catfish. None of them are predatory/aggressive so you should be fine. Anyways, welcome to the forum and good luck with the tank! Put some pictures up with what you end up doing :-D
