Hello, I am planning on setting up an amazon tank this week. It will hopefully be a 55 gallon, but I don't know. I have always loved looking at shrimp and I want to have some shrimp. These fish are the fish I might get...

Red Serpae Tetras
Neon Tetras
Ember Tetras
Lemon Tetras
Black Widow/Skirt Tetras
Marbled Hatchetfish
Pygmy Corydoras

...And I might be forgeting something. Will these fish work with shrimp? I figure maybe the embers and the p. cories will get along fine, but I am not so sure about the rest.

Hopefully, it will be a well planted aquarium, with South American tetras and others.

Thanks for the imput!

The Pygmy Corydoras will be no trouble, the rest will all eat shrimp if they fit in their mouths.

If it is heavily planted yes, but you might want to start out with a lot of shrimp. The hatchetfish won't bother them , they always stay at the top and shrimp generally stay at the bottom. You might want to get nturally colored shrimp such as ghost's or amano's. Blueberry shrimp don't breed true, so if the blueberry shrimp babies survive they will look the natural colors.
