Hi all. Over the past few days I've noticed white streaks/ smudges appearing on the glass inside my tank. I've googled it to death but so far no answers. I checked the water parameters last night and everyhting seems to be in balance. The fish look good and are acting healthy with no apparent marks.
I bought the 125 gal. tank on CL about 4 weeks ago. The previous owner had it set up as a reef tank. It was it pretty bad shape when I got it but scraped all the algae, salt and muck out. To destroy any diseases and aid in cleaning the algae I fiilled it and added 2 gallons of white vinegar and let it soak for 2 days. Flushed it out thouroughly a few times as well as soaked it with freshwater for a few days after.
I completed the set-up about 3 weeks ago, added 3 silver dollars I bought two weeks before and a pair of Clown Loaches last week. I will buy more SD's but didn't want to add too many too soon.
Just a thought... Any chance it could be the fish bumping the glass as they zoom across the tank with the circulation from the power head??
The white spots definitely arent worms or Ick. Any Ideas?????
Thanks for your input.
