Have this white growth on my Hemigraphis repanda or Alternathera reinekii. It almost lookst like a tent worm nest. Is this normal? Should I pull the plants? I have been fertilizing twice a week with flourish and using flourish exel every other day. I will see if I can get a pic later tonight.

Never mind, just checked the plants and they are dead or pretty close to it. 2 or 3 started to fall apart in my hand and the third was mush below the gravel level.
