plants are going to depend on what type of light you have.
That depends on what type of lighting you have, and also the substrate. Low light plants that would do well would be Anacharis (which can be planted in the gravel or floating.) If you have flourescent lighting usually Amazon swords, Argentinian swords, Java Fern, Ludwigia, Hornwort and Banana Plants do alright. Remember to pick up some fertilizer for them, I recommend a liquid fert.
One is a powerglo bulb and the other a aquaglo blub the boyf says one is made for plants.. I didnt see the packaging so not sure myself x

yep also crypts, jungle val, corkscrew val, dwarf water lettuce. this will give you a good idea of hardy low light plants you can keep.Hardy-Low Light plants such as amazon swards and the crypts will need root tabs. these plants are root feeders. and yes a good fertilizer is a must as well. i use flourish comprehensive. works very well.
Well, check out your lfs and see what they have to offer :)
