Heavily planted crypt and anubias tank with floating water sprite. Low tech , no Co2. Any ideas on a fixture would be greatly appreciated . This would be a standard 6ft 125

Smit, your tank sounds exactly like mine - is gonna be! Don't have any advice to give you, but subbing because I'm looking into this right now myself! Hopefully someone will be by soon with some input!

In my smaller aquariums(16g and 20g) my crypts are fine with just the standard t8 fixture they came with and my daughter has one crypt growing fine with the cheapest ever led on her 4g. But my 75 I have the wackadoo Fluval aqualife and plant LED fixture and I have tons of crypts and every other plant god ever though to create in there and they are growing very well. I don't mess with co2 or do anything other then keep clean water and occasional flourish when I think of it . I like the light.

You might want to check into HO lights. The depth of your 125 is about 21" to the substrate. It will be somewhat difficult to get light to the bottom. If your going to stay low tech with it, then a twin tube HO light would work. If you plan to go high tech in the future, you might consider purchasing a 4 tube HO light now, and just using 2 of the bulbs in it.
I purchased an Oddysea T-5 HO quad light when I went high tech. It's been a great light so far.

Actually Oddysea does make a 72" quad fixture. I thought about getting one, but didn't like the bulb arrangement. The use 60" bulbs in it, which leaves some dark areas at each end of the tank. I opted for 2-36" fixtures. The light coverage is fairly good.
Research many different lights before you purchase. Buyers remorse is hard to live with.LOL
Just thought I would let you know what I use, so you could check them out!!
If you have any questions about them, I will be happy to try and answer them.

Funny, I have the Oddysea quad t5 HO fixture in my storage closet off the deck. It's the 48"one and I like it but find no need for it(yet:lol:) . It's nice, has the night LEDs on it as well even built in fans to keep it from getting too hot.
