I got these shrimp and they were not labelled and the supplier could not tell me, but they were cheap so I got them anyways... Can any of you guys identify them? Thanks!

they look like some kind of sulawesi shrimp look them up!

This was a bit of a challenge. I'm going to hazard a guess that they are some kind of ghost shrimp (Palaemonetes spp). They almost look like sulawesi shrimps or some other kind of ornamental shrimp, but if you bought them for cheap, they aren't likely ornamental shrimp. Those typically run $1+ for a single shrimp.

Hmmm, I got these bad boys for $6 for 12 shrimp. They have also gotten fairly large. 1-1 1/2 inches

I doubt amanos would have been that cheap. They don't breed in freshwater and area all wild-caught.

If i'm not mistaken,maybe this are Amano shrimps..They are usually used in an aquarium because they feed primarily on algae, thus cleaning the aquarium if in large numbers.

Hard to see can you get a close up pic? They look like a type of long arm shrimp to me. Careful if so around small fish...they will eat them.

Ok, i forgot to meantion that the do have small claws.
