I wanted to create a new thread because it's fairly urgent and I know a lot of people, myself included, probably see a thread and say "4 replies, the problem is probably already taken care of," but it's not and I need more help quick! Here is my old thread for info:

http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/tropical-fish-diseases/ugh-ich-346633/

I'm not sure what this is on my angelfish's fins or what I should do! I know my fish have ich but I'm not sure what this other thing is that is causing their pectoral fins only to become frayed and sometimes cloudy. This angelfish has the worst fins with some white stuff on it. He is keeping it clamped too. I'm not sure what to do! :(

Thanks willow!

I just went to check on my fish now and the white patch/spot disappeared.... His fin is still frayed and clamped (he's hardly using it), but I feel a bit better that that white stuff is gone. Hopefully it continues to improve....

This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
