Hey, been awhile since I last posted, life has been hectic for me lately. Anyway, I'm planning to buy some new fish for my 10gal and 20 gal tanks. In the 10gal, I have 2 scissortails and 3 harlequinn rasboras, so the only fish I plan to buy are a few corys.

But the 20gal, I have three Zebra Danios, started off with five, but two croaked. Also have a clown pleco and a few kuhli loaches. Right now, thinking of buying a few more Zebra Danios, maybe mix them up with a few Leopard Danios, but my question is, are there any fish that can be mixed with Zebra Danios? I know long-finned fish like male bettas are a bad idea, not sure if it would be any different if I throw in a female one, but are there any fish that can do well with Zebra Danios?

remember rasboras, tetras and barbs prefer schools of 7+ so i would up the schools to at LEAST 5. i also think scissor tail rasboras get slightly larger then most rasboras at 3.5 or so inches so i would move them to the 20 gallon instead of the 10 gallon. for 20 gallon tank mates maybe appistogramma, small gourami such as honey gourami, smallish rainbow fish. maybe even snails such as nirite snails that cant spawn in pure freshwater or mystery snails that lay nice little clusters of eggs at the surface that you can remove and trash or do with as you wish.

Sorry for bad grammer/spelling as its late at night at time of posting ad im tired lol

Well, just moved the scissor-tails to the 20 gal, now I got to figure out what to order along with more danios and scissor-tails, along with some of the suggestions I see so far. Also, now, along with more Harlequinn Rasboras, need to figure out what goes with them in a 10gal.

with the rasboras maybe a female betta (never add a betta to community tank without a backup tank to move it too if something goes wrong) along with some kuhli loaches
