I have recently started a 65 gallon tank. It only contains live rock, a goby, and a cleaner shrimp, so far. I have noticed some jellyfish looking inverts on the glass. They have eight legs and those legs seem to split into more legs, or tentacles. What are these? My LFS said that they could be baby corals?

Unfortunantly, I cannot seem to get these little guys on a picture. But to answer your question melissa, they are white, and the head is a clear bulb with a small white center. There are about 50 of these just hanging out on the glass, and swiming around the tank.

update

those jellyfish looking copepods that I had mentioned before have now changed colors from white to red. Is this what copepods usually do?

They did look like that, although the ones in my tank had more tentacles. However, they have all dissapeared. I'm not sure how but they're gone. I have noticed about 3 polyps that have sprouted though, and I know that is aptaisia. I Think they look pretty cool, are they really bad pest?

So the kalk won't poison anything in the tank?
