Right i did a water test at the tap here is the readings

pH 7.6
High Range 7.4
Ammonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 0

These are the exact same readings i am getting from my tank when i test the parameters.

Hi Shellieac,well more or less lol just ones tell me that the nitrate is reading zero that its a suspicious reading etc,so i was just posting that to show what the readings were at the tap,and its exactly the same reaing i get from my tank.

If you're getting 0 nitrates in your tank you must not have any fish in there creating waste. When you have a reading on nitrates this is ow you know that you have competed a cycle as you see a reading on ammonia, then it'll 0 out. After that you will see a reading on nitrIte then it will 0 out. Than you will get a reading on nitrAte.

my water at the tap is reading zero nitrates,and yes i have fish in it not as many now though as there has been a few deaths,& i am also using a purigen pouch coz my reading were all over the place.
