I posted a question about high nitrite levels earlier tonight. I have a 55 gallon tank with 4 chichlids and 2 algae eaters. I took some pictures so you could help me figure out just what kind I have but I can't get them to upload. Any help with this would be appreciated. Also if I do a 10% water change daily to reduce the nitrites do I need to add anything other than the chlorine remover. Should I add any more of the Stress Zyme? I put it in on Monday when I did about a 75% water change. Thanks again for all your help!!

Jill, I would do 25% water changes adding 1Tbsp of aquarium salt for every 5gal of water, StressZyme as directed, and StressCoat as directed. It sounds to me like a) the tank has not completely cycled and fish were added too soon or b) you have inadequate filtration or c) both of the afore mentioned. StressZyme will add beneficial bacteria, and help balance the bio-bed. Delete the salt if the cichlids are not African.
