Welcome aboard, Niblett.
Fish will never know when they are often full which is why it is the aquarist's responsibility to control their appetite.Niblett said:Each time I feed my angel fish, he starts jerking about and coughing up all his food. You can tell he's starving, because he comes up to the surface each time I approach the tank, which he always does when he's hungry.
It seems your fish may have bacterial gill rot. Any medications treating against bacterial infections will do the job. Where are you located? Countries have different med stocks available. Maracyn-2 is one of the meds that will treat bacterial infections.Anyway, yesterday I noticed a small hole on one of its gill covers... HELP, I've looked all over the internet.. And I can't find any disease which matches this description.
