I've read that garlic can be used to flush and kill parasites. My smokey angel is showing some odd behavior. Not really active, nor eating. Just kinda drifting around very......meh like.

I'm thinking, if he is infected, everyone else is as risk. So I'd like to treat the whole tank.

Would you use the jarred/minced garlic(provided without other spices) or would you use raw garlic?

I'll be soaking the food in it. If he doesn't eat the food, will the garlic in the water still help him?

Thanks much!

I used raw pressed garlic, and just fed that to them straight! It worked fine with no ill effects. Cleared up the parasites within a day or two. :-D

I would use raw, just because some jarred garlic may have preservatives or something added to it. Maybe not, but just to be safe :)
The kind that I get has no preservatives.
