I whent to the lf yesterday and saw what a zoo looks lke and wow i know im gunna need some of those in my tank. It was this rock with prolly 50 litle green polyps on. Will they spread on too live rock? how long do they take to grow? i want a carpet of them.
Whats xenthia? i read some were that ''freinds dont let freind put xenthis in there tank'' I saw on this one guys tank it was covering the sides of his glass.

Xenia is a real menace. Some like it. When conditions are right it will overtake your tank. It sporadically dies and makes a real mess. Your green polyps could be green star polyps. Very prolific and grows ultra fast. They may have been zoas, both would suit your tank perfectly.
