I’m setting up /planning a 55 gallon and I was wondering if I have to many or too little fish
5 zebra fish
5 Dalmatian molly
6 rummy nose tetra
5 platy
And a cat fish if some kind still haven’t decided

Sounds about just right to me , but I would make it 5 to 6 Otocinclus catfish , they stay small and about the same size as the rest of the fish on your list. Bottom Line. The one-inch-per-gallon rule still applies, so try not to exceed 55 inches of fish in a 55-gallon tank.
