I was vacuuming my sand then all of a sudden my barb came out of no where and got sux up the tube and straight into the filter .Usually when the fish see me vacuum ,the fish swim away to the other side of the tank ,But not this one of course .He just came out of now where ..

Well, he lived for about 16 hours after i quarantine him in a bucket .then died

The only good thing to come out this is that i finally got to see sandy the (crayfish ) come out of her ornament skull (even when i clean her tank up and pull out the skull shes stays in the skulls corner and blends right into it ) after weeks of not seeing her right after i anchored the died fish in her ten gallon tank ..

she's now has eaten half the fish up:lol:..

Aww.. sorry to hear that. I worry about that with my larger tanks because I don't want to sit there and stare at the syphon the whole time. I however on a lighter note have found in my african cichlid tank 2 of my crazier guys like to swim into the syphon while I'm changing the water..gave me a heart attack the first time but they keep doing it and can actually fight the suction then sit there and taunt the other fish from inside the vacuum part:roll:

Well .. hey at least this made the crays day:-D
