Hi,
Can someone tell me what type of tetra would be ok in a tank with guppies? i'm looking to start a 30g or 40g aquarium that will have live plants, and sand.

Ok thank you guys. I did do some research on tetra and have a list of tetra I will go through and pick from to go with the guppies.

Here is the list of tetra that I have:

Black Neon Tetra -peaceful, need at least 6. Grows to 1.5" omnivorous. eats flakes and frozen food.

Black widow/skirt Tetra- peaceful, need at least 6. Grows to 2.25"-3" omnivorous. eats flakes and frozen food.

Blind Cave Tetra- very peaceful, need a small group. Grows to 3.5" omnivorous. eats flakes and frozen food.

Blood fin Tetra- general Peaceful, need more than 6. Grows to 2.2" eats flakes and frozen food.

Flame Tetra- peaceful, omnivorous. eats flakes and frozen food. Grows to 1.5". Needs at least 6.

Head/tail tetra- peaceful, needs at least 6. Grows up to 2". eats flakes and frozen food.

Penguin Tetra- peaceful, needs at least 6. Eats frozen daphnia and bloodworms or live foods. Grows between 2.4"-3".

X-ray Tetra- very peaceful, omnivorous. eats flakes and frozen food. Grows to 1.75".
