Suggestions for 125G

Hello all! I am curious if anyone as ever done a 125G community tank. I normally would set it up for cichlids, but i am in the Air Force and am now stationed over seas in Italy. Cichlids seem to be a little tougher to come by. PLus i am being told the water is softer. I am goingto put a couple discuss in the 55G and am debating what i want in the 125. I was think a few oscars but wife said no!!!

The tank is way over filtered with an FX5 filter so i should be able to house quite a few fish from various species.....

I have rainbows, loaches, plecos, cichlids, barbs and gouramis in my 125.
