I don't see why long fin and regular won't breed together. If my research is correct, they are just variations from selected breeding anyway. If you plan to sell them, keeping the two seperate and breeding them is prefered just for the sake of pure strains. If you don't want to sell them then have at it and you might get some cool crosses.
