Somethings defiantly wrong in my Lake Malawi tank and I need help to identify and fix the issue ASAP. My Mbuna's Flash more than usual and some do it excessively to where its obvious their scratching. I've notice a couple shake their head a little then kind of spaz out bouncing off the sand. A few of these fish I got from some members here on the site and they said they never acted that way before so its obviously not normal.
The first thing weird I noticed was little transparent worms in the tank. Not alot but enough to notice in a 150g. Not sure where they came from but they free float swim and my little guys will eat them. How the heck do you get worms in your tank? They say they come from un eaten food decay or a real dirty tank. Well I clean the tank once a week and vacuum the sand really well so not sure that's it.
Also a few times out the day all the fish get spooked when I first walk up to the tank.. they take off and hide then realize its me and come back out.
I've checked all my water parameters and everything's in check.. nothing out of the ordinary? Can someone help me sort this thing out? I'd hate to lose a big investment like this
