Make sure to use Romaine or leaf lettuce and not Iceburg lettuce.

2 questions for you fish4all:
(1) why not iceberg lettuce?
(2) is this only for snails or for fish (plecs etc) as well?

and just to let you know, im not challenging your statement, im just wondering why this is

thanks for that. i feed my plec fish flakes and algae wafers but i am going to start giving him some veg. next time i am shopping i will make sure i pick up some romaine lattuce as well as some cucumber and courgette for him

ok then. ill go for the romaine lettuce and courguette (or zuchini as you call it ) and leave out the cucumber
