ok steve-o..here's my post:

being new to the the fish-keeping hobby, i dont know a whole lot about what i am doing, but i have to say that its refreshing to be a part of a community that obviously takes pride and great care in what they believe in. i love being able to look at everyone's tank and set a goal for my future tanks. i am awed by the intricacy and beauty of your tank. you obviously took your time and carefully thought out what exactly you wanted and where to place it. i like the quote that you have in your signature..."take pride in what you do, for it is a reflection of who you are"..and i think that you are doing a great job of demonstrating that quote in action. keep up the great work. ^^

Nice tank. The changed susbtrate is certainly a big improvement.
I agree. Not only does it add for a more natural appearance, but it has also has enabled the fish to do a bit more redecorating of the gravel.

PS, Yellow Labs had another brood last week. Not sure how many, Ive only ever seen one at a time. But there's quite a bit of rock in the tank in which they could be hiding.
There are two for sure, saw them separately today. :)

Steve: I want your tank!! Your fish are absolutely stunning!! :D
You cant have it, but thank you! So Katie, when are you going to switch from tropicals to Tangs? :D
Arghh... I'm looking at my sitting room and thinking if I get ANOTHER tank the sofa is going to have to go.

I really want cics!! I can't bear to get rid of my community fish.

ARGHHH!!!

Do it Kate, Just think, if you get another tank, you'll be so busy with water changes, cleaning, and upkeep that you wont have time to sit down. Hence no need for the couch.

Ya gotta love my logic. :D

I'm thinking it's about time for another round of photos. Gives me the opportunity to try out the "best of 3" feature on my camera. maybe this weekend.

I would ditch the couches and replace them with tanks if my parents will allow that. Otherwise those tanks will have to stay in the shaded part of the garage and in my room instead.:dunno:

P.S. Planning for another tank this year. I'll move some of my fish in the new tank and possibly buy altums for the current tank.:wink2:

wow...your the only person that has the same filter as me! The Whisper 60 Filter. Exactly what I have. Is it better to have the intake tube extended all the way towards the bottom? I have mine as close to the top as possible but I dont know..
