Nighttime Lighting: 2 Coralife Aqualight 3/4W Lunar Blue-Moon-Glow LED Light (470nm)
2 Coralife Aqualight 1W Lunar Blue-Moon-Glow LED SpotLight (470nm) (19:00 to 09:00)

Is it a peaceful tank or do fights break out?
As this is a cichlid tank, fights do happened but not too often if you provide more hiding places.:)
When are you going to post more pics Steve?
I'm also asking to myself why he hasn't got back to post more pics. Might as well try to ask him.

Beautiful pics! Are you going to post all the pictures of your fish? Those are so pretty
Thanks Brie. I will post a few more pic here and there. I'm just finishing up on a DIY Tank Stand project so that has taken up a considerable amount of my free time. Sorry for the delayed response

Your tank is one of the best and most beautiful tanks i've seen. Far better than mine. Nice work.
Thank you, Much appreciated Rich. Lot of effort went into attaining the look I wanted. I'm happy with the outcome.

Thank you. Though there is no driftwood in the tank. Tanganyikan Cichlids require a high PH, Driftwood/Bogwood would buffer the PH down to levels below their normal habitat.

Aside from the occasional nipped fins, it stays pretty peaceful. Conspecific aggression with the Julies and the Fronts seem to be the biggest problem and that is very minor at best

:) Let us see pics of your DIY stand once it's finished. You must have chosen your fish a lot more carefully than i did. Ended up after loosing many with 2 P.Zebras that were always at each other although my tank had quite a few hiding places (not nearly as many as yours though). Eventually moved them to 2 seperate tanks. One is in solitary confinement the other shares with a green terror. Wish i could find adult females for them.

Of course, Oceane.:)
If I know him, he actually used to own Malawis. This tank shown in the pic is not only his tank. He has other tanks. 2 of them are community tanks.
I specialize much into Amazonian fishes. I used to have Malawis and Tangs myself.

Oceane, the looks of your hood doesn't matter. But hardwork is.:)
I'm impressed that you did a hood by yourself.:D More economical than buying one.
