My photo skills are no where near as good as the OH. But my daughter and I wanted to share her *misfit* tank.

10 gallons

2 Albino cory
Betta
Rainbow
Penquin tetra whom is older than dirt...lol
Some funky catfish that we rescued from the malawi tank *he was being eatin* but he is all well now and growing like a weed.
7 baby mollies we received last evening from a friend
Oh and 2 little shrimp.

Because idealy most of those fish should not be together but they all get along great. They are mostly fish we have saved from other tanks.

Steve got 2 of them for in his malawi tank and the Hap he has ate the one and I caught him tryin to eat this one so I quickly grabed the net and got him out, the only safe place for him to be was in my daughters tank. He is really cool she has named him spot.... :lol:

It looks like Synodontis eunotus(Angelic Catfish) which I kept 5 years ago.

Great tank. It isn't quite a 'misfit' tank though! It's just a simple little project 10 gallon tank for a daughter! I also have a 10 gallon and it just gave me an idea of making my 10 goldfish tank a tropical tank :lol: :lol: 8)....I like the fish tank you have there great job!

it's great when the children show an interest,
i can't wait to get my Grandson up an running
haha he's only 6mths,but loves to watch the fish already.

he does get excited,because all the guppys
rush to the front because they think they are getting fed,
so they all rush around in front of him. :)

I notice you have 2 shells in the tank. Are they real shells? If so, have you checked the pH in your tank? Real shells release calcium, which increases the pH in water.

Yes they are real shells. Regular testing is done and have had no problems. :)

It's gorgeous :) fishkeeping is such a rewarding and addictive hobby, nice to know your daughter is into it also. Keep up the good work!
