I saw one of my red cherries giving birth the other day. My question is how small are the babies when they are first born? I've been looking in my tank and can't seem to find any. Are they microscopic? Sorry for the silly question. I did notice a few tiny specs that would "jump" around on my anubius leaves if I use a flashlight. I'm just wondering how small they are. I'm afraid to vacuum my tank in fear of vacuuming them up. Thanks for any help. Also one more question. I've been feeding my shrimp 1/4 of a hikari algae wafer every other day. Is that overfeeding? I currently have 6 shrimp in the tank.

they are about as long as the dash following this sentence. _ they are also clear,so that makes it even harder to see them.i feed mine every 3 days.i found if i feed them more often than that,i never see them.they go off and hide with their full bellies and do not graze on the plants like they should.i got my fire reds about 2 months ago and now i have 3 different size babies. not sure how many i have now.that pic of the fuge ray on your other post, is my cherry shrimp tank.by spring i will have to give some away or trade them for plants to some of the members on this forum.i easily have 30-40 shrimp in there now.that should double or possibly triple by march.
