I was reading the fish profile for guppies and I noticed it say they do better in pairs or trios, so my question is: Will different types of guppies still act as one group? For example, if you have 3 red gold tuxedo guppies, 2 turquoise guppies, and 1 black moscow (or was it moscow black?) guppy, will they all count as a group of 6? Or will it be 3 individual groups?

Thanks in advance.:-D

Guppies are guppies :) Their colors don't matter to them.

Yeah color doesn't really matter to them. I have 1 lyretail, 1 cobra endler, 1 snakeskin, 2 black and blue, 1 sunrise-ish one among others and they are all getting along just fine. Color and pattern really makes no difference to them :) just make sure if you are going with males and females you need 2-3 females per male. (and be prepared for plenty of babies :p)
