Liquid ph test vs test strips?

I have tested my water today as I think the ph is high, I used my liquid for the ph and I wanted to check the KH level so I used a test strip. The test strip also shows ph. According to my liquid I'm somewhere between 7.2 and 7.8 and the test strip is showing 7.0.

Which is best

depends on how accurate you need the test to be. Liquid is generally going to give you a more accurate number, but, how accurate does it really need to be? what difference does it really make if your water is 7.0 versus 7.4? For some people I'm sure that is a big deal, for others it's the same difference. Depends on you and your setup.
