All plants need co2. It is a nutrient that is required for plant growth. Tanks will naturally have some in the water from fish, fish waste, and bacteria breaking down matter in the tank. With that said some do required more nutrients but they also require more light. There is a balance in every type of planted tank be it natural or high tech. Its just a matter of what type of plants or how fast you want the plants to grow. I am don't have any experience with the plants you have mentioned to say yay or nay about having to add Co2 for them to thrive or not. Sorry!
