I am moving a Golden Algae Eater (Chinese Algae Eater) into a 30 gallon (36x16x12?) along with some Zebra Danios. I am going to add a power head because they all enjoy a current, but I don't know the proper gph of the power head. Any ideas?
Well, I don't think the current has to be strong. As a matter of fact, I think that the typical HOB filter that is the appropriate size for the tank will provide plenty of current. Just a suggestion...read the fish profile for the Chinese Algae Eater.
oh! thanks, good to know. Liveaquaria has them under their sucker-cats section. Probably not the best source of information I'd be using 2 Aqueon QuietFlows (200 gph each, hob type)
