This is just a thread I am starting to post some visual reference to some friends and myself on possible shipping candidates. I am trying to help a couple of friends out with some coral frags but it seems that not everyone has the same opinion on wich is more desirable, beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all. So I suppose this is a Show and Tell type of thread with no real destination.

This first one is called a cactus coral some times as once it has encrusted some of the substrate it resides on it will begin to make rounded thin skeletal plates that house more and more polyps. This particular one is a green variety that I am fond of. When it is happy and its polyps are extended it looks like a grassy field just waving in the wind.

I just have to post these up in case I have not yet, usually star polyps like pachyclavularia are purple base with varying green tones on the polyp tops but these are purple all the way through.Very nice.

There are several types of green star polyps out there and I am thinking it is just a matter of time before I come across another type of purple,I have blue clauvularia.
Here are some Emerald Sunrise Palythoas I am thinking I need to cut. These are a larger polyped paly, not quite as large as grandis but good sized.

Your willingness to share your frags to help others with their collections is just wonderful! *hugs*
I'm jealous of anyone who will be receiving any of these. . . gah! They're ALL swoon-worthy!

I'm trying to figure out which I like best, but I really just can't! Each one of these are so unique and totally different from the others - I like them each for different reasons! Hopefully those to whom these will be going to are better at making up their minds than I am. . . >.<

I'd better not ever start collecting these. . . I'd really just want them all, and end up with. . . wait. . .how many tanks did you say you had again?!! Yeah, that! ~.^

These usually command a pretty penny but I have had some success cutting them up for propagation so I am letting this nice Purple and Orange Ricordea Yuma go to a lucky person as a mystery coral.Sorry I had to talk it up a little bit,it is just a pretty soft coral.
