I have a few neon tetras and one of them of late has developed a white patch near the tail. Attaching an image of the fish. Could you please help identify what disease it might be? The area where the patch is seen is slightly swollen if viewed from top. Thanks!

Would help to know what water parameter's are .
How long has tank been running with fish?
Temp,Water change schedule.
Even with this info,,it can be difficult to proper diagnose fish ailment's, but water quality or lack thereof can usually be linked to fish ailment's.
Will say were it me,,I would net this fish out and euthanize.Or treat in seperate tank(quarantine, hospital).

Thanks for the reply! My tank is relatively new (7 weeks). It is 50 gallons and heavily planted. The water parameters are -

NH3 - 0 mg/l
NO3 - between 5-10 mg/l
NO2 - 0 mg/l
Temp - 26 C
Around 30 - 40% water change every week

All other fishes are doing well. No deaths till now. Only this one developed the symptom...probably infected even before i introduced to my tank. Anyways I have quarantined it now. Is there any medication which I should treat it with?

Thanks!
