The betta will eat some of the fry. You can also get some whisker shrimp, they will go after the babies as well.

Platy Is Hiding
So I just got 2 platies and 1 betta in a 10 gal tank. One platy is male and the other is female, I noticed that the female has been hiding behind shells/decor ever since I put her in the tank. I wonder if she is scared of the male what can I do?

Petco is the only place i have found them. They are like ghosts but get bigger and will definitely go after fry. With adult fish, their perfect with. Not tons of people have them.

Some will take subadults, but not many.
