It is Alt. Reinekii. It show nice reds in higher light. Very easy plant to keep.

Hmmm, got that all over my tanks and don't get anything quite that vibrant. Do you fertilize heavily, or lightly to lower nitrogen availability? Using CO2?
Dosing PPS-Pro,every other day. Heavier PO4, and nitrate. Phosphate level at 10PPM, nitrate at 15PPM. CO2 level around 45, 400 watts T-5 HO 6700K PAR at substrate level 100.

I did the high-CO2 tank for a while. Yep, been there and slipped up when my CO2 ran low, still fighting the BBA that resulted! Still using CO2, just more as an enhancemeent to growth instead of maxing everything out.

LOL Co2 can be a curse, or a cure. Very unpredictable stuff.

When are they not? Lol. Im constantly learning new things to try or reaquascaping. Id like to take the gravel out of my puffer tank and replace with sand for them. No idea hiw that is gonna go. Please excuse typs. Worked all might, tool mu sleep and pain meds so ima lil out of itThank You!! It's a work in progress.
