I just ordered a phosphate remover it was not the normal ones that I have seen. My LFS told me about this new product he said It works great. Have you heard anything about it?

How do you use it? The typoes of potions you pour in a tank to rid it of trates, trites, ammonia, or phos typically just bond with the offender. Once bound it typically will begin breaking that bond in 4 days releasing it back into the tank.

Then I don't know how it will work maybe it won't. That is what I was asking.

I have never seen any of the products to remove anything actually work.

well then could that be a product I use with a phosphate reactor then? As the media?

Maybe. It will depend upon the product. Can you link us? The thing about a phos media in a reactor is that it is designed to trap and hold phos for months on end before leaching occurs. When you throw out the media, you throw out the phos. If a chealting product is used and you have a good skimmer the skimmer might remove the bound phos since it will eb a larger "particle".
