i have 2 perc clowns and i just got a bulb anemone and i know their more likely to take to it. Does it take a certain amount of time for them to take to it or if their gonna take to it will they go straight to it. thanks.
It may never happen. Percs and occelaris may not actually host at all. Depends upon whether they are tank bred or wild caught. The tank bred ones seem so far removed that they don't have the natural instinct. My maroons look at the bag of anemone as I hold it up. They stake it out before it gets to the tank... If your clowns don't get "it", try taping a really nice clean picture from a magazine of a clown hosting to an anemone. For some reason this seems to work wonders.
