well,after the tank change today
my pepper corys have spawned, and i got to watch
the whole thing mg: it was amazing.
the way the female holds the eggs in her pelvic fins
is so cute looking, the male does his job, then off they went
and she stuck them to the glass, each batch were different amounts
i couldn't see all the places that she stuck them,
but there are quite a few,and hopefully some survive.
just wanted to share.
i can't show any pics as my camra can't focus on them very well.
COOL! Congrats! If they spawned, they you know the tank conditions are perfect for them. Just have to watch out for fish that my want to eat the fry. Cover your filter intake with a sponge so that the fry does not get sucked in the filter.
thanks everyone,
well i think she finished last night,i saw her stick some to the
back of the aquarium, and then she dissapeared into
the cave.(poor thing she must have been so tired)
so i guess it's just wait and see.
anyone know how long it takes for them to hatch please.
hi
i remember it well !
one tank i had was comunity and one was cichlids
and they had babies, that was fun to watch,
especially at feeding time,my Yellow lab would go off by herself
to find food she never wanted to open her mouth to wide
but when she did,i to could see loads of little eyes.
it's the best isn't it.
hope your little ones come out ok.
