I just rescued a tank with a Parrot fish 3 kenyi like hybrids and a jack dempsy. The dominant Kenyi is beating the parrot fish up so I'm going to have to move the parrot.

My first thought was to put it into an 80g with some peacock eels, variety of smaller plecos and congo tetras. I'm slightly concerned the peacock may kill the tetras though.

The other option is to try putting it into a 35g with an unknown mbuna(about 6", probably a hybrid) and a handful of clown plecos. Theres also an abundance of snails in this tank so I'm worried he may end up choking on a snail.

What do you guys think?

I would look at rehousing him, Parrot fish ideally should be kept in a minimum 55g tank.

The JD may prove an issue as well if it isnt in a large tank with correct aggressive tank mates, they are very aggressive and can kill and entire tank very quick.

Yeah we are probably going to have to rehome it. We tried putting it in the 80 but it immediately went after everything, and based on this behavior we dont even want to try putting it in the 35.

Thus far the JD is completely ignoring everything else, and they all ignore it.
