So I got my fishies home!! I posted a few weeks ago about inheriting a very neglected tank from my late gramma. I hired a wonderful man to move and clean the tank for me. My 75 gallon tank is actually a 90 gallon tank. Most of the small babies didn't survive the move. They were too small but all the others did!! My only issue right now is how to hide the stinking tubing!! It looks so tacky having all the air tubes running up the back of the tank. I'm wondering if there is a trick I should know about??? And also it seems my air pump has lost its momentum and isn't really performing very well. I will look into replacing that. I still need to get a new background and I don't have it decorated quite the way I would like it to be, but its functional for now. My breeders are all busy claiming their territories and Mr. Jack Dempsey is doing a good job keeping the babies to a minimum. Im wondering about feeding them. How much is too much/not enough? The bottle says one flake per fish 2-3 times a day. Would it be reasonable to feed them a pinch in the morning and a pinch in the evening? The were completely over fed prior to the move. I don't want to shock them but I also don't want to cause them unnecessary harm either. And I certainly don't want to be dealing with the excess waste! Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated
